Anti Wrinkle Treatment

Poor Skin Healing

“Poor skin healing” refers to the delayed or impaired healing of the skin after an injury, surgery, or other trauma. Poor skin healing can be caused by various factors, such as poor nutrition, underlying medical conditions like diabetes, certain medications, infections, or smoking. Signs of poor skin healing may include slow wound closure, excessive scarring, redness, swelling, or infection. Treatment for poor skin healing may involve addressing the underlying cause, such as managing blood sugar levels in diabetes patients or stopping medications that may inhibit healing. Other treatments may include proper wound care, antibiotics or other medications to prevent infection, or oral medications to promote healing, and light therapies.
