Brow Lift

There are many nonsurgical methods that can reduce the appearance of eyebrow sagging, offering a younger more aesthetic look. If you are uncomfortable with surgery, or can’t afford time off work, non-surgical brow lifts can provide a similar effect in a shorter time, enabling a faster return to work. Non-surgical brow lifts can be achieved in the form of injections including anti wrinkle injections and dermal fillers or using other non-surgical lifting techniques.
Non-surgical brow lift with anti wrinkle injections
Anti wrinkle injections can create a significant eyebrow lift by relaxing the underlying muscles. This allows forehead muscles to pull up now-relaxed muscles between the brows and the ends of the eyebrows, elevating the brows and enlarging the eyes. The amount of lift will vary and depends on one’s age and the tone of the muscles that lift the now-relaxed muscles. Results from anti wrinkle injections are relatively quick and require repeat injections every 4 months to maintain results.
The eyebrow naturally falls and droops with age, especially the sides of the brow more than the area closer to the nose. This sagging tissue then crowds the upper eyes, making them appear smaller. A droopy brow can even decrease the visual field in severe cases.
Wrinkle relaxers, such as anti wrinkle injections may be used as a temporary alternative to surgery to alter the shape and or position of the eyebrows, in addition to reducing wrinkles.
How does a non-surgical brow lift work with anti wrinkle injections
We tailor the treatment based on multiple factors, such as an individual’s facial anatomy, the degree of aging, and preference. A non-surgical brow lift with anti wrinkle injections tends to be more subtle compared to brow lift surgery, but recovery is obviously much easier than surgery.
The results with anti wrinkle injections injections develop gradually over several days and last on average about three months. There is minimal to no bruising with this treatment.
